2018 SC Alpha Regional Convention Bus Trip

APRIL 5 – 8, 2018


Join the South Carolina Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., as we travel together to Memphis, Tennessee for the 87th Southern Region Convention, April 5-8, 2018. The bus trip is approximately 10-hours from South Carolina to Memphis. There is a planned meal stop at a halfway point during the trip.

Reservations options for the trip are as follows:

Option 1: Complete the 50% deposit required to reserve your seat.

  • For Alumni brothers and guests the deposit is $62.50 per person.

    • plus the card fees $5.53 Buyer total: $68.03

  • For College brothers and guests the deposit is $42.50 per person.

    • plus the card fees $4.42 Buyer total: $46.92

  • Choose the Donation option and pay your remaining amount.

Option 2: Pay the full reservation cost for the bus trip.

Do I need hotel arrangements for this trip?

Yes. This reservation is only for transportation to and from the convention. You still will need to register for the convention and make your own hotel reservations.

Where will the bus drop-off and pickup?

The bus will arrive at the convention hotels. The convention hotels are the Sheraton Downtown and the Crown Plaza Hotel. Both hotels are across the street from each other.

Other hotels will need to be in close proximity or you will have to arrange your own local transportation to and from the hotel drop-off site.

We are the thirty-three (33) chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. representing the District of South Carolina. We proudly emphasize the aims of Alpha Phi Alpha: Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and love for all Mankind, by implementing the Fraternity’s National programs and maintaining brotherhood in Alpha through social, civic, and community-based programs and events. Chapter programs include efforts with the March of Dimes, MLK Memorial Project, Boy Scouts of America, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, and many others.

Our mission is to develop leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities throughout South Carolina.

Currently, we have fifteen (15) undergraduate chapters located at public and private colleges and universities, and seventeen (17) graduate chapters in most major cities in South Carolina. Annually, the District sponsors a District Conference in the Fall, a District College Brothers Summit in the Spring, and a District Leadership Retreat in the late Summer.
